USMC Drill Instructor Platoon Sergeant Singing Some Beautiful Cadence. Oorah!

They say you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make them drink. In the Marine Corps, Drill Instructors can make that horse wish to hell he had. Here’s a video of a Drill Instructor training platoon sergeant singing some beautiful cadence. If this doesn’t motivate you, nothing will.

Every Marine will tell you that they may not remember what they ate yesterday, but they will always remember their Drill Instructors. Drill Instructors are highly trained professionals who are the foundation to the process of making Marines. Working countless hours, they ensure that recruits receive the best training possible to prepare them for the rigors they will face as a Marine. It is the Drill Instructors who serve as model Marines and who teach recruits about Ethics and the Marine Corps’ Core Values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment.

🤓 The purpose of close order drill is to enable a commander to:

  • Move his unit from one place to another in a standard, orderly manner, while maintaining the best appearance possible.
  • Provide simple formations from which combat formations may be readily assumed.

Plus it looks pretty badass if you ask me 😂😜
