#BeTheOne: Microsoft’s Super Bowl Commercial Featuring Katie Sowers is a Tribute to Pioneers

My TV may be sitting #SuperBowlLIV out, but I appreciate the commercials.

I respect all who brave to pave a new road for the rest of us to follow. I understand the life of a pioneer is one which you’re continuously kicked in the teeth. The first person through the wall always gets bloody… Always!

Whenever you threaten the status quo, whether it’s a government or a way of doing business, the people who are holding the reigns and have their hands on the switch… they go bat shit crazy.

Thanks to you Coach Katie Sowers, any team that isn’t tearing down the “males-only” approach towards football is already a dinosaur. They will soon find their ass sitting on the sofa as teams who follow your example go on to compete at higher levels… As you are so clearly demonstrating for all to see.

The lesson is to “Be you, bravely.”

No one gets remembered for the things they didn’t do.

Frank Turner

It only takes one. Just one, and the world changes.

Rick Yancey

“People who end up as “first” don’t set out to be first. They set out to do something they love.”

Condoleezza Rice

Microsoft is committed to empowering the next generation of game-changers, like Katie Sowers. As an Offensive Assistant Coach for the San Francisco 49ers, she’s made history as the first woman to ever coach in the Super Bowl.
