ATTN Small Business Owners: SBA’s Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Application

Knowing how painful the financing process can be for business owners, I’m excited to share I’ve found a possible solution. Given the amount of small business owners who are seeking assistance regarding the SBA’s Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), I’ve recently partnered with Fundera – a lending marketplace where you use one application to apply to every leading small business lender.

Below is an email I received earlier this evening which was sent to all Fundera Partners. It has information regarding frequently asked questions, recommendations for business owners seeking to apply for the Paycheck Protection Program, as well as a list of institutions who are currently accepting applications.

Paycheck Protection Program Application

Dear Valued Fundera Partners,

We appreciate your patience as we work to help your clients navigate the constantly evolving landscape of the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP).

Please review all the Partner Program Frequently Asked Questions here. This will be updated daily as we learn more and the situation develops.

Our priority is to help as many small business owners as possible during this stressful time. Due to the high demand and slow speed at which the lending community is beginning to process and approve PPP applications, Fundera currently recommends the following for your clients:

  1. Contact the bank that currently houses your clients’ business bank account and see if they are accepting applications. If the answer is yes and they meet their criteria, they should apply there first.
  2. If they are not accepting applications, you can continue to use Fundera to access banks we are partnering with that are accepting applications from new customers.
  3. Additionally, you can try contacting local community banks and ask if they’d be able to accept an application from them if they move their deposit account to them. We’ve had a few customers have success here.

Fundera has one bank partner beginning to accept applications today and we hope to have two more before the end of the week. Here are other institutions we are aware of actively accepting applications as well.
